The exam is scheduled for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th July 2026 for both Primary (Class 1-5) and Upper Primary (Class 6-8) levels. Candidates who wish to become government school teachers in Uttar Pradesh must qualify this exam.

Vacancy Details
UPTET is an eligibility test for teacher recruitment in Uttar Pradesh government schools. It is conducted for two levels: - Paper I: Primary Level (Class 1-5) - Paper II: Upper Primary Level (Class 6-8)
Eligibility
Paper I (Primary Level): - Senior Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks AND 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR - Graduation with B.Ed
Paper II (Upper Primary Level): - Graduation with at least 50% marks AND B.Ed, OR - Graduation with B.El.Ed (4-year course)
