Vacancy Details

Total: 28 posts across multiple post codes (Scientific Officer, Staff Nurse, Scientific Assistant, Pharmacist and Technician). Posts are based at NFC Hyderabad, Zirconium Complex Tuticorin and NFC-Kota at Rawatbhata. PwBD candidates are eligible for Post Code 12602 (OL, HH) and Post Code 12605 (OA, OL, HH) only.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess the essential educational qualification and post-qualification experience prescribed for each post code, fulfilled as on 02-05-2026 (last date of online application). Age is also reckoned as on the closing date. Age relaxation for SC, ST and OBC is applicable only where the post is reserved for that category. Selected candidates are liable to serve at any constituent unit of the Department of Atomic Energy and may be required to work in round-the-clock shifts in operational plants.

Application Fee

Application fee, where applicable, is to be paid online only through BharatKosh / Non-Tax Receipt Portal (https://bharatkosh.gov.in). The fee once paid is non-refundable. Refer to the official notification PDF for the post-wise fee.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the official NFC recruitment portal at https://recruit.nfc.gov.in.
  2. Read the official notification (Advt. No. NFC/01/2026) carefully before applying.
  3. Register and fill the application form with correct personal, educational and contact details.
  4. Upload scanned copies of 10th certificate, qualifying certificate, registration certificate (where applicable) and category certificate (if applicable).
  5. Pay the fee online via BharatKosh and submit the application before 02-05-2026.
  6. Apply separately for each post code if applying for more than one post.

Selection Process

Selection is post-code dependent.

Interview-based posts (Post Codes 12601, 12603, 12604): Selection is on the basis of a Personal Interview. If response is heavy, NFC may conduct a Screening Test of 75 MCQs in 90 minutes (+3 / -1 marking) to shortlist candidates for the interview.

Three-stage posts (Post Codes 12602, 12605, 12606): - Stage 1 — Preliminary Test (1 hour, OMR): 50 MCQs (Mathematics 20, Science 20, General Awareness 10), +3 / -1 marking. Cut-off 40% (General), 30% (Reserved). - Stage 2 — Advanced Test (2 hours): 50 MCQs from the relevant discipline, +3 / -1. Cut-off 30% (General), 20% (Reserved). Merit list is based on Stage 2 marks alone. - Stage 3 — Skill Test on Go/No-Go basis: up to 5 times the vacancies are shortlisted from Stage 2 and the final empanelment follows Stage 2 merit.

Examinations are tentatively held at Hyderabad, Mumbai, Rawatbhata and Pazhayakayal.
